During nine days in Colombia, I was part of one of the best groups I have ever worked with.
My partners - now family - kept cool under immense pressure and stress, were the utmost professionals, and took care of each other at all times.
During the time we weren’t out in the field filming, I took portraits of what I now call the A-Team:
Martín, thank you for guiding us through your city and helping us with literally anything we needed at any given time. From guide, to translator/fixer, to photographer, we appreciate all of your contributions. Most importantly, thank you for your friendship. We are now waiting for you at UNC.
Abby, I couldn’t have asked for a better video partner. You are always on your A-Game and I’m constantly learning from you. Thank you for your hard work in filming, scrubbing through all the footage and being unphased by the endless hours of work put into this project.
B, you’re awesome. I appreciate you for always listening and for your support. Every day, I look forward to our text conversations because they lighten my day — they are way too funny. Can’t wait to see the work you produce.
Jason, our honorary member. My brother from another mother. Thank you for being genuine and always having my back. Can’t wait to get this podcast started.
